Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and StyleME Pty Ltd (ABN pending), a company registered in Victoria, Australia ("StyleME", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the StyleME platform — including our website at style.zeg.com.au and mobile applications — you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them.

If you are using StyleME on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Description of Services

StyleME provides an AI-powered fashion intelligence platform that includes:

• AI Stylist: personalised outfit recommendations based on your Style DNA profile
• Virtual Fitting Room: computer vision-assisted garment fit visualisation
• Smart Closet: digital wardrobe management and outfit composition tools
• Sustainability Scores: blockchain-verified sustainability ratings for garments
• Trend Forecast: predictive trend intelligence and analytics
• Access to our retail partner network of 1,000+ retailers

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the service as a whole, with reasonable notice where practicable. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such changes.

3. Accounts and Registration

Creating an account

To access most features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Account security

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at security@zeg.com.au if you suspect unauthorised access. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorised use of your account where you have not maintained reasonable security.

One account per person

Each account is for individual use only. You may not share your account or create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use StyleME to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
• Transmit harmful, offensive, defamatory, or misleading content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from our platform without permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from our applications
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our services
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Upload body data, images, or style profiles for anyone other than yourself without explicit consent

Violations may result in immediate account termination and, where warranted, referral to law enforcement.

5. Intellectual Property

The StyleME platform, including all software, algorithms, design, text, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by or licensed to StyleME Pty Ltd and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use StyleME for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. This licence does not include the right to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content.

Your Style DNA model and the insights derived from your personal data are yours. We do not claim ownership of information you provide to us.

6. Your Content

When you upload photos, wardrobe items, or other content to StyleME, you retain ownership. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, process, and use that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the services you've requested.

You represent and warrant that you have the right to upload any content you provide, and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.

We do not use your personal photos or body data to train generalised AI models or share them with third parties outside the scope of service delivery.

7. Purchases and Payments

StyleME's core platform is free. When you make purchases through our retail partner network:

• Transactions are processed by the relevant retailer, not StyleME
• Returns, refunds, and delivery queries are handled by the retailer per their own policies
• StyleME may receive a referral commission from retailers — this does not affect your price or our recommendations
• StyleME is not a party to the contract of sale between you and any retailer

8. Disclaimers

Sustainability scores are based on third-party audit data and are provided for informational purposes. While we take rigorous steps to verify claims, we cannot guarantee their absolute accuracy and accept no liability for decisions made based on sustainability information provided.

Virtual Fitting Room results are estimates based on mathematical modelling. Fit accuracy of 99.8% is a statistical average; individual results may vary. We recommend reviewing size guides for each retailer.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, StyleME's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the greater of $100 AUD or the total fees paid by you to StyleME in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data loss, or loss of goodwill.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account. Upon deletion, your personal data will be handled per our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a security risk to our platform or other users. Where possible we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach before termination.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria for any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of StyleME, except where prohibited by mandatory consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.

Before commencing legal proceedings, we ask that you contact us to attempt to resolve any dispute informally. We commit to responding within 14 business days and engaging in good faith resolution efforts.
